Today my mission was to get this blog publicly available which if done wrong can be a scary thing. I don't want to just open up the IP to my home lab to the whole wide internet all willy-nilly. So I decided to use Cloudflare as my DNS and use a Zero-Trust tunnel to my home lab. I followed this guide: Setup your Domain using Cloudflare Tunnels and Zero Trust

Everything went pretty much according to plan. Except for when I read to far into the warning about if you used Docker compose to deploy Ghost and I messed up my current environment. I ended up deleting the stack and recreating it and then everything worked. After waiting for the DNS change to propagate everything seems to be working.

The only snag I have now is getting the images to work. It appears fine in the editor but when I view the post in a browser it just is an empty box. I've been trying to figure out how to fix this all I've been able to fine is people saying they have the same issue. Then crickets in the comments. So I guess I'll have to figure it out myself.

The next thing I want to do is explore using Zero Trust from Cloudflare to help protect the login page for this blog.
